Data Processing (DPA) overview
Many schools require a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) or similar addendum. This page explains the idea in plain language.
Roles
In most school deployments, the school is responsible for deciding what data is collected and how it’s used, and the system provider helps process that data to deliver the service.
Security measures
DPAs usually cover access control, confidentiality, and incident response expectations. We can share technical details and procedures during onboarding.
Subprocessors and hosting
Schools may request a list of subprocessors and hosting locations relevant to their deployment.
